Music Overview

The music program at Hebrew Day Institute is designed to provide children an understanding and love for music and theater arts. Our goal is for each child to develop a working knowledge in the language and history of music as well a sense of confidence that comes from self expression in music and movement.

This year, by using interactive lessons, games and multi-media recourses, we will be learning basic music theory, different musical styles, and studying the fascinating lives of composers and performers.

Each year the entire student body participates in a full length musical production. The whole school sings and each class performs a choreographed song from the show.  The talent and personality of the students really shine through in the Hebrew Day Institute's annual spring musical!
